Use CaptionMate on multiple devices

Yes, once you have registered an account with CaptionMate, you are able to use the same account login details (cell phone number and password) on multiple devices. For example, if you have an iPhone and iPad, you can use the same login credentials for both devices at the same time. Even if your second device does not have its own cell phone number, you can still use your CaptionMate account to make and receive calls while the device is connected to the internet.

When you receive an incoming call to your CaptionMate number, all of the devices you are logged into will receive the call at the same time. You can then choose one device to answer from.

Please note that you can only be on a live call with one device at a time using the same account.

When you log into CaptionMate on a new device, the records of your call history will be visible under History. Although, call transcripts are only available on the device a call was made on. Transcripts will not be synced across your devices with general call history information.

If you have multiple phone number (for example, one for a work phone and one for a personal phone), you can choose to have a separate account for each. You will need to register each number individually.
