CaptionMate offers the ability to view and share your past call transcripts, which is useful for important calls that you want to save and read in the future.
Please note that due to our privacy policies, your call transcripts are not saved on CaptionMate servers. They cannot be accessed or retrieved by us. If you delete the app, all transcripts inside the app will be deleted, and they will not be restored if you reinstall. In light of that, we strongly recommend you save important transcripts outside of CaptionMate by sending them to yourself or someone else.
Please follow the steps below to view and share your call transcripts.
Open CaptionMate
Tap History
Tap the transcript icon next to the call you want to save
Tap the Settings icon in the upper right corner
Tap Share Transcription
Select the app you'd like to use to send the transcript. An easy way to save them is to use an email app to send them to your own email address.
The transcript should appear in the content of the app you've selected. Continue with the normal steps to complete sending the text.
