CaptionMate automatically saves the transcript of each call. Call transcripts will only be available on the device you used for the call.
Please note that due to our privacy policies, your call transcripts are not saved on CaptionMate servers. They cannot be accessed or retrieved by us. If you delete the app, all transcripts inside the app will be deleted, and they will not be restored if you reinstall. You can save important transcripts outside of CaptionMate by sending them to yourself or someone else. Please click here for instructions on how to Share and Save Call Transcripts outside of CaptionMate.
To view your transcripts saved in the app, follow the steps below.
To view your call transcripts
Open the CaptionMate app
Tap History
Locate the call you want to view
Tap the transcript icon to the right of the call information (the icon is a T with lines next to it)
To delete call transcripts
Open the CaptionMate app
Tap History
If you would like to delete a single call transcript:
Tap the transcript icon for the desired call
Tap the gear icon at the top right of the screen
Tap Delete Transcription
Tap Okay
If you would like to delete all call transcripts in your history:
Tap the trash can icon
Tap Yes, I'm sure
