CaptionMate allows you to block unwanted or spam calls from specific numbers by adding them to your Block list in the app.
Please note: if you are experiencing a large number of spam calls and have call forwarding set up (calls to your cell phone number are routed to CaptionMate), you may want to disable call forwarding temporarily to check which phone number the spam calls are going to. If spam calls generally come to your regular cell phone number, you can block them on your regular Phone app. If the calls are coming to your CaptionMate number, add the callers to your CaptionMate Block list.
Below are instructions for blocking calls in your History and unblocking a number by removing them from your Block list.
How to block a number in your History:
Open CaptionMate
Tap History
Locate the number you'd like to block, and tap the Info icon to the right
4. On the Contact page, tap the Settings icon
5. Tap Block Number at the bottom of the screen
To check and remove numbers from your CaptionMate Block list:
Open CaptionMate
Tap Settings
Scroll down to 'Technical' section and tap Blocked Numbers
5. Locate the number you want to unblock. Slide it to the left for the option to Delete it from the Block list.
6. Tap Delete to unblock the number. The number will disappear from the page when it is unblocked.
